Recruitment Fraud Notice
Overview
Cerium Pharmaceuticals has been made aware of scams involving fraudulent job offers. These scammers often impersonate company representatives to solicit personal information or money.
How to Identify a Fraudulent Offer:
- The Email Address: Official Cerium Pharmaceuticals communication only comes from @ceriumpharma.com. We do not use Gmail, Yahoo, or other public providers.
- The Interview Process: We do not conduct interviews via text message or chat apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal).
- Financial Requests: Cerium Pharmaceuticals will never ask for money for “home office equipment,” software, or background check fees. We do not send checks to new hires to purchase their own equipment.
- The Posting: Legitimate openings are rare and will be verified directly by our corporate office.
What to do if you have been targeted: If you have shared personal information or received a suspicious check:
- Stop all communication with the individual.
- Contact your bank immediately if you provided financial details.
- Report the incident:
- FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at www.ic3.gov
